Project Vision: A Community with Trails

Trails benefit both residents and visitors in many ways. They can highlight the natural beauty of our area, improve safety and community health, offer recreational and social engagement opportunities, reduce environmental impacts, and strengthen the economy. Trails can also allow us to avoid congested streets and highways, reduce the parking burden on our village, and travel safely through our community and neighboring communities on foot or by non-motorized means.

Connecting the Village: Four Multi-Use Trails

This project is seeking to build four off-road, multi-use trails to connect the village of Egg Harbor to surrounding neighborhoods and municipalities. This includes a connection to Fish Creek, home to our area's school.

  • Downtown Fish Creek to Downtown Egg Harbor
    • This trail would connect the village to our area's school in Fish Creek.
  • Murphy Park Beach to Egg Harbor Beach (also known as the "Beach to Beach" trail)
    • This trail would connect our two most popular beaches, as well as the Point Beach Neighborhood, our largest residential development.
  • The Landmark Resort
    • This trail would connect the village to the Landmark Resort, which has 294 one, two, and three bedroom units.
  • Rainbow Ridge
    • This trail would connect the village to Rainbow Ridge, which includes two large condo communities and businesses.
